    Network-rules

These simple rules apply to every user and every channel on SomeNet and may change at any time. Please make sure you know them.
As SomeNet is a small network, we have soft rules - we will NEVER scan your communication for rule violations - however if staff notices or a user complains, we WILL take action.
If you do not fully agree with these rules, do not connect to the IRC-Network!

    Talk before banning

Before banning anyone, talk about the conflict.
Many people do stuff unintentionally. If one friendly points them to their mistake, they can change themself.
If they get banned, they will continue their offending behaviour somewhere else.

    Keep it legal

Keep the communication legal. We do not want Child Porn, Nazis, or other shit on SomeNet!
Currently (subject to change) all of SomeNet falls under the jurisdiction of Austria(http://www.google.com/search?q=kangaroos+in+austria&tbm=isch)

    No (negative) discrimination

By negative we understand things like "gay marriage is a disease", "women belong in the kitchen", ...
On the other hand positive discrimination means discriminating people that are discriminating others.
(Negative) discrimination is not cool. Don't do it.

    Use your brain

Use your brain to determine what is OK and what is not!
